OVERVIEW OF ORGANISATION

Our organization SHAFQUAT EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY is established and registered by government of Bihar,INDIA in the year of 2003. After several opinion interchanges of founders Shafquat Educational Society ,it was felt that policy making and programme implementation of welfare and development is not only to duty of government. The people of the state should also come forward with the helping hand of government and ensure their effective support of people Shafquat Educational Society was got registered from government of Bihar being requisite statutory requirement. The founders of the NGO has got support of experts ,educationist and co-hearted NGO and eminent research institutions and managements consultants. The founders of the NGO Shafquat Educational Society has got registration under 12A & 80G as requirement by income tax ,got registration of CSR1 under MCA and got registration of FCRA under MHA and also got renewed certificate of FCRA and opened FCRA Bank account in SBI ,New Delhi in the name of Shafquat Educational Society as per the instruction by Govt.of India.Our organization Shafquat Educational Society organizing Board meeting in every month in the office of its office of the organization which is situated in the distt of PURNEA ,BIHAR ,Shiv Mandir Road ,Line Bazar.to facillate and making norms of the proposed projects.

PURNEA DISTRICT AT A GLANCE

Purnea district is one of the backward district of koshi zone of Bihar,but this district is in the centre of covering district of Katihar,Araria,Kishanganj and Madhepura.All these four districts are about 50 to 60 KM away from Purnea and well connected by Road and Railway.So as a NGO it is easily work and cover these above four district .

The geographical area of PURNEA District comprises 3.2 percent of the area of Bihar state.Majority of its population is engaged in agricultural activities and also having pet animals like cow,buffalo and other beneficial animal for income generation and there is little industrialization in this district.The existing industries are agriculture based industries.Majority of its population lives in rural areas and dependant of their agricultural activities due to lack of industries.The literacy rate of Purnea district is 39.94 percent as compared to 47.53 percent of Bihar.The main crop of Purnea district are Maize,Jute,Paddy.

The Govt.of Bihar continuously working for better life style of people and fix objective to achieving balanced regional development encouraging new and prospective enterpeneurs,optimum utilization of scare resources,making use of highly sophisticated technology ,exploiting improving local skills ,awareness regarding hygine among womens and girls to prevent from diseases etc.

The report has been prepared on the primary information collected through extensive field visits by volunteers and secondary information available in various documents and reports in the district.Various central as wel as state government offices,large scale and small scale industrial association,education offices,health sector by district health society and various programme launched by many MNGO who are working in the field of Health and hygine ,education,child protection,environment and other social segment was contected to obtain the up to date information of the report was conducted during the month of june 2023.

Illiteracy and unemployment rate is highest in our district.Government alone can not cope these problem .So Ngos are doing their bit of services in the fight against Literacy,Unemployment reduction,victims,health issues,child and women education,environment,protection of animals and various social activities and programme.Our organization has also contributed in this direction and some of our achievements are listed below.

ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANISATION

The major work has done by our organization in the field of health, education, skill development programme, environment, dairy farm project, child and women project, Animal husbandry, financial assistance under self employment scheme, rural development etc. Our organization has undertaken many activities in the last three years. 01.Social welfare work :- As per our slogan social work is same as God worship. The Shafquat Educational Society has conducted function at PURNEA in April 2023, at that time Mr.Shabih Ahmad presented and delivered social work speech for the present people. About 130 people attended this programme. 02.LITERACY CAMP :- Literacy camp was arranged by Shafquat Educational Society on 3^rd May 2023.About 98 adult were present at the programme. Mr.Shabih Ahmad guided all the persons present at the programme. They focused on the great problem that the organization is facing due to illiteracy. So he have the importance of the education in throughout the life.The response to this programme was so good. Firstly garland is offered to the photo of Mahatma Gandhi by the said Mahila Mandal. 78 adult have participated in this shivir. 03. MEDICAL SERVICE CAMP :- This camp arranged by the Shafquat Educational Society on day about 136 people attended by this programme. Mr.Shabih Ahmad given speech on the AIDS, Cancer and other diseases. President of this organization given vote of thanks and programme was declared as finished. The running project as follows.

a. Installation of hand pumps and construction of low cost toilets.

b. Environmental education by own sources.

c. Awareness programme for poor women.Organisation undertaken this programme by the support of local people.

d. Adult education programme by the support of members contribution.

EDUCATION CAMP :-

As per our slogan Education is a milk of tiger the Shafquat Educational Society has conducted function at that time Mr.Shabih Ahmad presented the slide show of different method of education and need of education.He also conclude the education need for every people ,about 114 people attended to this programme.
